Country Fried Chicken by Debbie Webb 1 fryer cut up into pieces. 2 c. cooking oil 1 1.2 c. flour salt & pepper to taste 1 tsp. each of lemon pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, cajun seasonigs Mix seasonings into flour and set aside. Heat oil in deep cast iron skillet. Dip chicken pieces into egg, dredge in seasoned flour and place in hot oil, fry 20 tp 25 minutes, turning chicken frequently. When done drain on paper-towel lined platter. |
